Aparthotel Amella (Ltd. Heinike Nams) supports the animal shelter “Ulubele”
In this autumn SIA Heinike Nams, the company representing Aparthotel Amella, carried out a corporate social responsibility initiative by supporting the animal shelter “Ulubele.”
Our team donated waste paper, used blankets, bedding, food, and other essential resources to help the shelter provide warm and safe homes for its residents during the cold season.
The “Dzīvnieku pansija Ulubele” association, founded on November 21, 2005, was established by like-minded individuals who care deeply about animal welfare. Its mission is to recognize every living being as valuable, ensure the well-being and protection of all animals, and, in particular, to safeguard the rights and lives of those who, for various reasons, cannot find an owner for a long time.
The shelter is home to many senior animals—elderly dogs and cats who, due to life’s circumstances, have been left alone. They are especially in need of warmth, care, and continuous support from the community.
Aparthotel Amella, recognized in 2025 as Latvia’s Best Luxury Family Hotel by the Luxury Travel Awards, believes that family is not limited to people—it also includes our smaller companions, our pets. That is why we proudly participate in initiatives that improve the living conditions of those still waiting for their forever homes.
For us, corporate social responsibility means caring for the community in its broadest sense, and such good deeds help make the world a kinder, warmer place for both people and animals.
