Welcome to Aparthotel Amella, your home away from home. Opened on July 15th, 2022, our aparthotel offers a unique blend of modern amenities and historic charm. Located in a building originally constructed in 1900 by the Heinike family, our hotel was first designed by the esteemed Art Nouveau architect Rudolph Philipp Dohnberg, who laid the foundation for its timeless elegance.

Aparthotel Amella is a hotel of the Latvian company Heinike Nams Ltd, which values Latvian culture and traditions. The hotel personnel welcomes every guest as a visitor in their own home, placing focus on individual service taking into account the needs and wishes of the client. Aparthotel Amella continues the story of the hotel’s construction, which dates back to 1900, as the family home of the Baltic-German architect Gustav Heinicke in Riga, where family members and friends were welcomed.

In April 2026, the company SIA Heinike Nams received the award “Godprātīgs nodokļu maksātājs” (“Honest Taxpayer” ) ,  which was presented by the Minister of Welfare of the Republic of Latvia, Reinis Uzulnieks, in cooperation with the Latvian Hotel and Restaurant Association, as well as the Latvian Traders Association.
